## CocoNote Joined Quizlet — What Now?

In March 2026, Quizlet acquired CocoNote — the popular AI note-taking and study app known for its "record → study" workflow. While the app continues to work, many students are concerned about pricing changes, feature restrictions, and ecosystem lock-in.

If you're a CocoNote user looking for alternatives, here's what to consider.

## What Made CocoNote Great

Before we look at alternatives, let's understand what CocoNote did well:

- **Live recording** with real-time transcription
- **Unified "Note Hub"** — all outputs from one recording
- **Auto-generated** flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, podcasts
- **Clean, minimalist UI** designed for focus
- **Cross-platform** — iOS, Android, Mac, Apple Watch, Web
