CocoNote Joined Quizlet — What Now?
In March 2026, Quizlet acquired CocoNote — the popular AI note-taking and study app known for its "record → study" workflow. While the app continues to work, many students are concerned about pricing changes, feature restrictions, and ecosystem lock-in.
If you're a CocoNote user looking for alternatives, here's what to consider.
What Made CocoNote Great
Before we look at alternatives, let's understand what CocoNote did well:
- Live recording with real-time transcription
- Unified "Note Hub" — all outputs from one recording
- Auto-generated flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, podcasts
- Clean, minimalist UI designed for focus
- Cross-platform — iOS, Android, Mac, Apple Watch, Web
